Today Is The Day!
September 3rd, 2010 Posted in appearances, star warsOk, peoples! Today begins some cool stuff for me, hopefully. I’m going to be down at The Gallery at Lake Mirror today from 4pm-9pm selling artwork. Come on down, whether we’ve met or not and meet me and see some of my work. In addition to selling the handful of pieces being displayed in the gallery, I’ll be selling off a lot of original work as well as some prints at the table in the next room . I’ll be drawing and selling sketch cards which include all my drunk party monsters and any you might want me to specifically draw for you. Any original work including my Big Girls, Supercuties, wrestlers, some Star Wars Rodder pieces and whatever else I still have will be on sale. Also, I’ll be doing crazy head only caricatures for $10.
This is a good first step to me making more appearances and getting my personal career on track. I hope that you’ll come out, buy some stuff, and maybe let me know what else you’d like to see from me. There is some cool stuff on the way and I hope you all enjoy what I’m doing for you.
As a treat, here’s a tease of the Darth Rodder piece.

Wanna see the whole thing? Well, come by the gallery and see me!
Dennis Goes To The Gallery!
September 1st, 2010 Posted in appearances, star warsOk, some big developments are going on here! First off, I’m in my first gallery showing! A new local art gallery is opening up and took an interest in my work, so I’ve submitted 5 or 6 pieces to the gallery in hopes of selling some art. The location is called The Gallery at Lake Mirror. In fact, this Friday (the fourth) I’ll be hanging out at The Gallery from 4pm-9pm doing caricatures for cheap and promoting my work. I’ll have originals, prints, and will be taking any private commissions. I’d love to see any of you down there. Lake Mirror will be doing First Friday down there as well, so there should be some other fun stuff to see and do while you’re down there.
Here’s the Gallery info:

Luke Skyrodder!
August 22nd, 2010 Posted in star warsOK! So I’m going to leak out a new piece I worked on. I am heading in a very specific direction now with new goals and some really exciting new pieces. Here’s the first!

Woot! Guys and gals, I really hope you dig this direction. I’m really excited about it.. can you tell? I’ve received so many kind words recently and had so much to motivate me. All of you have been an essential role in this challenge to myself. I want to give you the best I can. I want to create things that keep me inspired and interested in drawing and be able to properly give back to you. Enjoy!
Star Wars Rodders!
July 20th, 2010 Posted in star warsOk, so I’m totally bored and I’m looking for something to draw up at the bookstore, so I start looking through magazines. I like the old car mags cause of the pinups and start liking the idea of maybe a car pinup. Close by is a Star Wars centered mag and it hits me. Oh my gawd! So, this brings me to start studying the ways of rodder artist, Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, and his amazing Rat Fink art. Now, let me be clear in saying that I’m not trying to completely emulate his style, but rather bring that feeling and inspiration to my already existing style.
This is not the first piece I’ve done with the rodder mashup, but the first, I think, to get so close to the energy of Roth’s work. It’s also the most elaborate piece I’ve ever drawn and the first of the series that I will be coloring digitally. So, here’s the scan of the inks as a tease.

Like that?! Yeah, that’s what I THOUGHT. hehe. Ok, so I’m certainly planning more pieces that are this full and maybe more chaotic. I’m having a lot of fun with them and really don’t want to stop.
Also, I’ll be likely featuring more of these pieces FIRST in the new local magazine A Peculiar Circus. So, go check it out and I’ll let you know when to look for the issue with my art in it.
Ahsoka Commission NSFW!
July 16th, 2010 Posted in commissions, nsfw, pinup, star warsAs promised, here’s the Ahsoka draw I did for a collector. After debating the issue with friends, I decided I would age the character to be more in her 20’s. Since there is no official cannon record of her death, I decided I could do this without breaking the character too much. Plus, I really wanted to draw it, haha.
More to come, so stay connected to the site for more updates.
Ahsoka Commission

Here’s a sample of a recent commission I’m sending out. I just want to show a taste, so the final is a surprise to the guy who commissioned it. Can’t wait to show you the rest!
